I believe a large part of diversity is the separation between genders, not just races. We have seen how women have begun to stand up for their rights and become a larger voice in the world, especially in politics. This article is just one of many examples of how women in the workforce are striving for better treatment and equality. It focuses on CBS and their new initiative in trying to help women in their company grow professionally and seek women empowerment. As a woman, I am very proud to see growth in our nation like this. I plan on being an accountant and the business world is very male-oriented, but I am glad to see how some companies are trying to change this and make the U.S. workforce more diverse on a gender basis.
